My name is Giovani. I was born and raised in South Florida, specifically, Sunrise, Florida. While growing up only 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, I was exposed to a diverse community of people throughout my quotidian milieus and encouraged me to engross myself within culturally enriched spaces hosted by the metropolitan area. I was quickly pushed to develop cultural humility as my curiosities traveled as far and wide as my mind and body took me, and contributed towards developing my values in: respect, relationships, community, forgiveness, communication, and overall wellness. My particular upbringing has not only influenced and blossomed my personal development, but also my scholastic and professional interests and trajectories as well.
